Info Post
Say that three times fast.  Or try this, since it's even a closer description for what you are about to see, "Perfect, Pretty and Practical Pantry Project".  And the word "perfect" is an understatement.  The use of space in Lisa's new pantry is purely genius!

Hey Jen!
Recently I shared a make-over of the front entryway that you shared with your readers on your blog.  That was so exciting!  My husband has been hard at work once again, this time on our pantry!  Our old pantry was unfinished and when we moved in we kind of just shoved everything in there and made the most of the space.  Having 3 children and living in a 1300 square foot house on a SLAB made for little room for anything.  For such a small house we were blessed with a very large pantry.  It was the last room in our house that needed to be done over, so my husband was hard at work and re did the entire thing.  You can see I know have recessed shelving in between the studs instead of ones that stick out, I have counter space, and even a gift wrap center!  I am thrilled with the way it came out and I hope you enjoy it as well!! It's a an organized dream!! Keep up the good work on the blog!

First, let's take a look back at Lisa's first set of smart space saving spaces that her and her hubs designed to maximize the space in their 1300 square foot abode, which I had shared right here on the blog:

And let me tell you, this couple was at it again, really taking advantage of an existing pantry, and making all the right moves at maximizing the space and storage potential.

Let's take a look at the original pantry that the home was blessed with:

Something to take note of that I was completely inspired by.  This is where the smart organized thinking comes in.  Check out all those deep shelves.  Great right?  Tons of storage, YES!  But how big could the room be without all of those wire shelves sticking out so far into the room?  What if the shelves themselves were recessed within the studs of the walls?  Oh imagine the space that could be utilized then?  Maybe enough to add entirely new CABINETS and COUNTER and keep the FREEZER and create a WRAPPING STATION?  Oh yeah, they did all that!

It's OK, take a minute to gather your thoughts, wipe up the drool, peel your eyes away... I understand.

Of course the incredible cabinets {from Ikea}, paint job, granite counter and floors make an incredible before and after that is beyond swoon worthy.  It all pulled together in the most dreamy of ways.  But the use of space is beyond smart and I can't seem to get over how much storage, both open and concealed, was created in that nook!!

And boy oh boy do I love cabinets.  They hide things.  Lots and lots of things.  Of course, I was nosy and asked Lisa to show me what's behind some of those doors and drawers....

She has cabinets and drawers for everything, from cleaning supplies to tools to dishware and baking goods.  All in one perfectly organized space!

Let's Oooh and Awwwe at the transformation in unison shall we?

It's so hard to believe that it's truly the same space!  Do I have the most talented readers around or do I?
