Let me introduce you to the SweetSeat!
SweetSeats are these absolutely ADORABLE child booster seats that are hand crafted by the most charming family. They live on a working farm outside of San Antonio, TX enjoying the simple life. They spend a lot of time eating around there and got tired tripping over that big, clunky high chair in the corner. Then came that hard-to-clean plastic booster with all of the straps. They knew there had to be a better way. Thus, SweetSeat was born out of a desperation to find high-quality, long-lasting, small-footprint children’s goods to fill their tiny barn home. What they couldn’t find, they decided to create! Each and every SweetSeat is handcrafted on their farm, by their own hands.
Not only do I completely applaud this family for taking their idea and running with it, and sharing the awesomeness with the world, these seats are totally at the top of my love list because I have always been an advocate of pretty simplified living!
I have to say, I am in awe of their talent, as both Parker and I have personally had the chance to fall in love with a magical seat!
I really adore the fact that this is the first booster seat I have ever seen that is actually BEAUTIFUL in our home, it's also the first seat that Parker has really taken a liking too. Plus, it's easy to keep clean which is always a plus in my book. In fact, I had done away with the typical plastic strap booster long ago, because Parker wanted nothing to do with it and it was an eye sore in the dining room. The only problem is the little rugrat would sit on his knees and get down from the table and basically run laps at almost every meal. He was one squirmy wormy who was clearly uncomfortable in our chairs...
Until the SweetSeat arrived. No more wiggling. Just eating and chatting!
I can't quite pinpoint his fascination with the chair itself, or how it worked like a charm, maybe because it's uber soft under his tush, or maybe it's because he can now sit comfortably at the table without having to stretch or reach, or maybe because it's "his special booster". Whatever the reason, both mom and Parker are smitten!

In his exact words, "Thanks for the seat, can we get one for the car too?" I had to laugh since he absolutely cringes at his car seat as well {and no, he doesn't get to use this in the car, this seat is strictly intended for dining} And it's oh so cute that he lugs this seat around the house ALL over the place to do his favorite things! Like read stories in his bedroom...
And snacking while watching some Curious George in the living room....
And playing with his train tracks? Yep, he had it there too!
