Silhouette CAMEO Heat Transfer Promo & GIVEAWAY!

As I mentioned this morning, I got to play with Silhouette Heat Transfer material!  This stuff is so fun because you can basically take a variety of colors, cut out fun patterns, designs and text and transfer them on to fabric!  That could be anything from shirts to hats to throw pillows to curtain panels!  The possibilities and varieties are endless!  All you need is your Silhouette and an iron.

You may remember I had used the heat transfer material here to create labeled laundry sorters:

I also used heat transfer to label the bins in our boy's bedroom closet:

This weekend, I thought I would stray from using the Silhouette for labeling, and try something new.... well, kind of.  I guess you could say I "labeled" the new throw pillows for the boy's shared bedroom.  Oh sigh... It is a sickness I tell ya!

It is SO SUPER easy.  Just created the graphic, mirrored it and cut it with the Silhouette:

Then, peeled off the heat transfer material from around the cut and figured out the placement on the kiddo's pillow:

Then, just placing some fabric down to protect the iron, I pressed the transfer onto the pillow:

Remove the fabric, peel the backing and the transfer is there all nice and cute!

We call our munchkins P1, P2 and P3 so the two younger ones are the beneficiaries of the new throw pillows:

Of course, the pillows will land as a new accessory in their bedroom, as soon as I finish up another project that I have on the ol' Home To Do list!

And for the playroom that we are also working on.... an owl fit the theme perfectly!

I just followed the exact same process and in no time had three new pillows!  Thank you Silhouette!
